Amazon India has slashed the commission fee for small sellers on its platform by 50% till June end. The waiver will apply to vendors who sold goods worth less than ₹10,000 in January and February. Sellers will also be incentivised for bringing in essential items like food and grocery into Amazon’s warehouses and the company will waive off storage fees for products till April 30. Rival Flipkart is also giving special offers on loans to small sellers.
