Initially all the businesses found it difficult to operate during the government-imposed lockdown due to Coronavirus but over time, everyone has adapted their services based on the current situation. Multiple platforms are turning themselves into hyperlocal delivery services and others are partnering with them. Tata Consumer Products too followed the trend and has partnered with delivery platforms like Zomato and Domino’s Pizza to deliver its essential goods.

TCPL MD and CEO Sunil D’Souza explained that through these delivery channels, their consumers will be able to consume their products without putting their health at risk by walking out. This was done in a properly planned phased manner with Flipkart being the first one to start the delivery of TCPL essentials in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi.

Domino’s being a pizza outlet will have these services under “Domino’s Essentials” and will run in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Zomato has an extensive network which is spread over 60 cities in the country which will widen the reach of the company’s products. Additionally, Tata Consumers Product distributors will be listed as marketplace sellers on these platforms. The company has also started delivery through its own nutrition and e-commerce platforms, Tata NutriKorner. It has been initiated in two phases and certain parts of Delhi has been covered as part of phase 1.
