Even though Rahul has left the company but he will still continue to remain a board member and shareholder in the company. Jaimini was responsible for the technological development of the food-delivery company. He was heading engineering, analytics and IT team in the firm which will now go under Dale Vez, Head of Engineering and Data Science.
Majety also wrote a heartfelt goodbye letter to the Swiggy Team for Rahul and thanked him for bringing a dream to reality and being a great friend. He ran through his entire journey of meeting Rahul and how they developed a team of trust with zero second guesses.
Swiggy was the brainchild of two BITS Pilani graduates, SriHarsha Majety and Nandan Reddy and they only needed one Tech-savvy to complete the team and that they found in Rahul. They started operations in 2014 in Bangalore by partnering with a few restaurants and gradually became India’s largest food delivering service.
