Health assure

HealthAssure, a Healthtech startup recently released a statement stating that they have acquired on-device fitness subscription service, FitMeIn. This merger will ensure service to over 5 million users in the country ranging from fitness solution to primary care by the end of this year.

The startup aims to provide access to digital healthcare to users from 1300 cities in areas concerning diagnostics, pathology, consultation and pharmacy among others. The deal will bring more services at the hands of a user as it combines both curative and preventive healthcare.

FitMeIn was founded in 2015 with a focus on Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities and it provides access to a wide network of fitness centers, fitness coaches, nutritionists and mental health practitioners. The startup claims to have served over 5 lakh customers and they expect the numbers to increase two-fold after the merger. The acquisition brings a plethora of services under one roof.

The companies aim to brings futuristic healthcare solutions by adapting new technology and processes. The teams will be working in an inclusive environment now from Vishesh and Nidhisha of FitMeIn handling customer engagement and wellness function respectively. The main focus for the startup now is customer retention and more engagement through better technology.
