Softomotive

A robotic development automation business, Softomotive has been a competitive firm in the industry. It has received appreciation from UiPath off lately worthy of $7 billion. Sources suggest that Microsoft corporation is in talks to acquire this UK based company. The purpose is said to acquaint the people with processing of tasks through robotic software. The simple tasks like data entry could be performed through robotic automation which converts the data and adds it to spreadsheets in no time.

If success is noted, the agreement could proclaim in the coming weeks. The decision however remains unclear. The sources also say that people disclosing this news wish to stay anonymous. The deal discussion is not yet final but through what is known, Softomotive raised $25 million in the year 2018 from Grafton Capital which is based out of London. Softomotive was founded in 2005 in Greece and moved its headquarters to London in 2015.

There were no comments from the delegates of both the companies. Softomotive is specialised in robotic automation which aims at saving time and money. The products are employed throughout various sectors like healthcare, banking etc. to name a few. It runs in close competition to UiPath and automation anywhere. Microsoft, a renowned software company has shown to get great results of remote work done by cloud computation. There was a mention of usage of robotic automation however nothing more was revealed. According to the website, Softomotive is a gold partner to Microsoft. The final decision is yet to be conveyed.

If talks are successful, a deal could be announced as soon as the coming weeks, said the people, asking not to be identified because the matter isn’t public. No final decision has been made and talks could still fall apart, they said.
