With things slowly going back to normal, there is still need to maintain social distancing. Office Cafeterias are usually crowded and it will be difficult to follow safety norms in such places. To combat such issues, Food tech startup Smart-Q is planning to launch a “Slot-based booking system” which will allow the users to select time based on their convenience.
The startup is focusing on companies as safety for their employees and clients will be their biggest priority and it will get quite difficult in crowded areas like canteens and IT Park food courts. The service will be rolled out in June in form of “Smart Pass” which will provide safety to the users and authority and convenience to book their slots. The users can also pre-order their food through this facility.
Smart-Q is all set to launch “Smart Pass” globally as well in countries, New Zealand, USA, Germany among others. The Indian companies that have taken up this service include Goldman Sachs, Boeing, Compass Group, Airtel, Siemens and Razorpay.
