Paytm First Games

Paytm First Games is all set to mark its presence in international markets with its partnership with Daraz, an online shopping marketplace for South Asia. The company has already launched its gaming venture in Bangladesh and will soon reach Nepal, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.

Daraz was launched in 2012 with focus on South Asian online market and it presently has a reach of over 5 million consumers across the region. This deal will help Paytm First Games to foray into the largest growing gaming market in Asia. The partnership is called Daraz First Games and it will provide gaming content in various genres like arena and casual games in several formats. They also plan on adding fantasy games to the list.

To make the gaming experience more real, Daraz aims to launch a redemption centre where players can redeem the points earned in games for a variety of services. Sudhanshu Gupta, COO of Paytm First Games said in a statement,

Mobile gaming has been exploding in South Asia region and we endeavour to partner with players who share the same mission. We are thrilled to partner with Daraz to launch a world-class gaming experience in Bangladesh and hope to replicate the same success with games like Ludo and eSports,”

The new firm will offer over 100 games including Paytm First Games’ popular ones like Ludo, Block Puzzle, Retro Tetris, 3D Highway Racer, Crazy Shooter, Candy Match and Ninja Duo. Edouard Gheerbrant, Chief Growth Officer of Daraz Group said that with Daraz First Games, they will be able to create a platform to offer exciting and immersive games for Daraz Users. This will also help to get a hold on the fast-growing mobile games market in South Asia.
