Juicy Chemistry, an organic skincare products venture recently raised about 5 crores in Series A funding round from Akya Ventures. This has brought the Coimbatore-based home grown brand to a valuation of $2.5 million. The startup began in 2014 and had been running on internal funding and operations’ revenue until now.
The company provides 100 plus skincare products like moisturisers, gourmet soaps, baby massage oil, floral waters among others. Juicy Chemistry works o sustainable model with minimalizing packaging with recycled and recyclable material. According to the co-founder, Pritesh Asher the funding will be used to upscale their manufacturing unit and strengthen the supply chain in near future.
They fund will also be used in hiring talent to meet the increasing demand and investing in marketing for both online and offline channels. They also plan on expanding their product range in coming months. Juicy Chemistry recently got Veda Corp onboard as their financial advisor. The startup has a certified product range by Ecocert (France) in accordance with COSMOS V3 standard.
