Indo-Israeli startup, SafeHouse Technologies bags investment from Israeli AltaIR Capital. Roman Abramovich, Russian-Israeli billionaire is one of the key investors in AltaIR. Aditya Narang and Liad Herman founded SafeHouse in 2016 to provide military-grade security to smart phone users. After the announcement, Aditya tells that this is another big investment for the company that affirms company’s technology and innovative business model.
The company has secured other investments previously from ESP Das, former vice chairman of Merrill Lynch as angel investor in 2016 and Barclays Ventures invested over $2.2 million in 2019. SafeHouse was also chosen out of 10K+ startups into the Techstars and Barclays accelerator in Tel Aviv in 2018.
In the world of internet, cybersecurity has become a talk of the town and SafeHouse caters to this need of the society in an efficient manner. Their flagship product, BodyGuard witnessed an immense success in the market. This is a one-button app that secures the mobile phone and delivers mobile security to end-users. It secures the device from threats like malware, phishing, malicious links and ransomware.
The company is yet to be launched in the country which comes close to the historical Indo-Israel collaboration on national security and defence.
