Tell us a little bit about yourself and your journey, please:
I am Hardik Patel, CEO of Epsilon Electronics. I Founded Epsilon Electronics when I was just getting started and when people of my age preferred getting handsome salary by working in MNCs, I started the company in 2012 with a vision to provide best design and research work in electronics segment. After continuous effort in line of quality, making access to technology for a commoner, we are currently serving more than 50 customers in product design and research work.
My Journey has been full of challenges considering the industry has no history of innovation and research. I was operating from a city which was far from the ‘metro’ title when I began. This posed great challenge to attract international customers, arranging logistics and supply chain, importing raw materials and finding the right talent for the work.
Please Provide a brief overview of your product & Services?
Incepted in Ahmedabad, Epsilon Electronics is an innovation driven product design and manufacturing company. We are currently serving all major domains like Medical, Transportation Industry, Home Automation, Education, Entertainment among others. Our services include Architecture Design, Component sourcing, Embedded & IOT firmware, PCB Design & Manufacturing, PCB Assembly & Testing, 3D Design & Printing and special consultancy service.
One of the most integral parts of our company is Novelty. We not only create and offer durable, robust and accurate electronic products but also provide consultation and technical support to our clients. We believe in strong CRM and customer experience. Epsilon Electronics is a company which is encapsulating a mighty blend of skilled engineers backed by rigid technical capabilities.
We work tirelessly to cater to your product requirements. Our medical product designs backed by Internet of Things are some of the most acclaimed ones in the region.
What inspired you to build the above Product & Service?
Everyday, human life is becoming easier with innovation in electronics, smart gadgets, robotics, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence among other things. India is the biggest consumer market in the world, we should be focusing on developing such technology as well. To become competitive globally & next big economy of the world, our country needs electronics design and manufacturing solution and services. Epsilon Electronics is creating that impact on research and innovation worldwide.
How did you find the industry / niche you are in?
During my college days I realised that majority of the industries were trying to solve the problem at software level and hardly anyone paid attention to hardware. The fact that building an electronics system which required extreme dedication for research and knowledge sounded challenging and that’s what attracted me the most. When I started, infrastructure, skilled manpower and policies that promoted research in electronics were quite limited. These hindrances motivated me to start product design and manufacturing firm.
What is Your life Mantra?
We all are here to serve the humanity. Let’s work hard, innovate and create the right path for the future generation.
The most challenging part of your journey till date and how did you Overcome those challenges?
From the beginning of Epsilon Electronics, it has been difficult to find the right candidate that fit our criteria. We were looking for someone with both emotional intelligence as well as field knowledge. To create the right workforce, we started skill building program within the organization.
Other roadblocks that we face are Chinese industries and other low-cost competitors but we have been doing good in beating them.
How are you managing your Life and work during Lockdown caused by COVID 19?
For me, Life has become even easier in lock down because of my family’s availability. Working from home has opened up multiple possibilities for future work culture. Lock down has given a golden opportunity to prepare ourselves with future challenges and reducing human disturbance in nature’s activities.
What is your source of motivation for the day when you wake up?
What new I can do today that I did not accomplish yesterday. When there is nothing new to look forward to next day, it is the end of life.
Money or Emotions, what comes first for you?
Emotions rule the heart, heart wins the happiness and that is the real money for me.
How do you Manage your stress?
I manage my time well by prioritizing and that helps me in stress management as well. I try to link the problems with nature which gives me better insights for the solutions.
What according to you are keys to success?
Explore perpetually, learn and implement in real life.
What habit you think, makes you more productive?
Accepting the challenges and working toward the innovation.
Your business Goals / plans for next 3 years?
I plan on setting up a competitive product design and manufacturing unit and meet the global standards of quality. Also, Increasing the presence of India’s role in Product design and Manufacturing globally.
